NOTE: Iron-on patches adhere best to cotton. Refer to your specific garment if ironing is allowed.
- Lay garment on flat surface
- Turn iron on - make sure steam if OFF and no water is in the iron.
- Iron temperatrue level should match your specific garment's ironing temp - for example: Iron at medium or iron at high heat
- Place patch facing up on your garment in the desired spot and place a thin towel over the patch
- Apply heated iron to patch and apply pressure in a circular motion for 10-30 seconds. TIP: if the patch has a thicker border, apply more pressure to the edges to ensure the adhesive attaches to the garment. Allow to cool. (You aren't done yet!)
- Reverse the garment so it's inside out. Apply heat to the patch from this side. You can use a thin towel between the iron and the garment if needed. Iron until patch is adhered. Allow to cool.
- Once cool, check to see if the patch is attached. If needed, simply repeat Steps 4-6.
- Enjoy your patched garment and tag Ginew: @Ginew_USA
TIPS: Materials like mesh, coated or ribbed items or garments with stretch are not the best suited materials for iron-ons. You may want to tack the four corners down with a quick sewing to ensure the corners lay flat.
